Picture book making. I experimented with this one by wetting the paper first and randomly making shapes, letting the paint bleed. Then I added the boy and his water buffalo, the trunks and finer details.

Sometimes when I'm writing it helps to draw out ideas, and none more so than finalizing the look and feel of pre-death Krytis for In the shadows. It's super rough as I didn't want to spend ages rendering it and was just going for shapes, colours and mood.
