Beta Finneon:
The recent Gen 4 beta sprite leak included about a dozen early designs for Sinnoh Pokemon. Finneon's design didn't change TOO much, but it did feature lots of small differences.

Beta Furret:
In Gold & Silver's 1999 demo, Sentret's design was identical to its final design, but Furret was quite different -- a pink thin Pokemon with a different tail and belly pattern.

Tried to imitate the Pop'n music style for practice, turned out being really fun! Inspired by Arisa's sprite, since it felt very on brand for Lytz. (*¯︶¯*) Konami please put them in game? k thx #artistsontwitter #dnd #DungeonAndDragon

I originally was going to make a Sheep sprite, but i feel like she've gotten enough love, so ima give some love to Kip.
Beta Carnivine:
The recent Gen 4 beta leak contained a Carnivine beta sprite so simplistic, it was clearly intended to get rebuilt before release... that said, what if it WAS the final design?

Beta Ivysaur:
Ivysaur's original design dates back to 1990, long before Bulbasaur & Venusaur existed. Back then, Ivysaur was flat as a pancake, weighed down by the massive flower on his back.

Had a nice stream with THE FAMOUS @deviousSprite and @yunasakura. I was boolied for a good amount of the stream by my kids and mostly by sprite, so as payback, I force her to face the truth.
When we first meet Bathym, we see his sprite, and the pose, the face, the colors, 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓪𝓼𝓼, it all implies that there's something terribly dark going on with this character.
However, we first see him as someone sweet, kind and cute, and we're almost instantly revealed that-
Beta Azumarill:
In Gold & Silver's 1999 demo, Azumarill had a very different design and was much shorter -- interestingly, it was later changed to blue, and gold ended up as its Shiny color.

Rise always had my favorite idle sprite, she's just vibing and that's okay
Beta Azumarill:
Azumarill's earliest design was very different. However, gold might've never been intended as its final color, but was just using Baby Doduo's color palette as a placeholder.
