Finally can show this. My entry for 2019. Congrats to all those who entered. The one who got 2nd place has a very beautiful take on the theme “contrast”.

Some more loose concept art from Monarch depicting the the bigger mans token wife. 💅Designed to contrast with the design for the smaller mans loving family wife.👨‍👩‍👧

Invaders (2019)
Namor’s war on the surface world begins. Writer. Chip Zdarsky unveils some neat plot twists and really ramps up the action. I’m still a bit put off by the contrasting styles of artists Butch Guice and Carlos Magno on their respective timelines. 4/5

in contrast to above painting of Ascetic-Yogi, here all features of beauty were added by painter to depict a Yogini
may be if she was any royal? then painter do enhance it?

Portrait of Yogini, c. 1750-1760, watercolor on paper, Honolulu Museum of Art accession 10687.1

Sometimes I wonder why I bother shading for hours and then I contrast the flat colours and I remember. 😂

Also play "Your Turn to D/ie" y'all. It's a free game and it's rad.

Spinel in Hatsune Miku’s Love is War! I really love the contrasting colors from it and it’s nice to use another color rather than the usual yellow and purple xD

Take the nobodies from KH2. Because they're the discarded bodies after someone becomes a heartless, the overall clothing/zipper/jacket aesthetic fits perfectly. They're discarded "shells", and they contrasts greatly to the more organic appearance to heartless.

The contrast in quality between male and female is noticeable... Might shade this proper later

I was talking about how Rivals stack up against each other (imo) on stream. I have a bias towards character development and a balance between it and jerkiness, dont mind friendly rivals when there are jerky rivals to contrast them

WIP ADVICE!!! 1 OR 2? ignore the colours it’s just for contrast

Thank you! I think I might like the green with the orange hair. Nice contrast.

Nadia's colors looked too washed-out, so I contrasted the fuque out of them

This is the moment when the resurrected Jesus reveals his identity to astonished followers ~ contrast Rembrandt’s atmospheric, almost cinematic Supper at Emmaus (1628) ■ Caravaggio’s more theatrical version (1601) ■ & forger van Meegeren’s fake Vermeer (1937)

A little present for my artist friend ! She chose Aggretsuko as her favourite... but her sweet & calm personality is such a contrast - if I were drawing digital art with mouse only and no tablet, I would be raging 24/7 unlike her😂
