Guys. always draw at least more than one doodle, it really helps to improve te pose and proportions
And also, if it's too hard to do pixelart, you can draw doodles in another software and then use it as a base for the final pixelart. It really helps in my case with big pixelarts

This seems to be blasphemy in a lot of the JP fandom, but personally I prefer the Allosaurus from Fallen Kingdom than the BABR one, which has weird proportions and croc scutes. I think the FK one is mostly fine for a JP dinosaur.

if you would like some help, i would say practice drawing hands a bit more. the posing is solid on the peace sign, but it almost looks like mario has 6 fingers instead of 5.
by looking up "mario concept art" you can find 2d references of his proportions, like this from galaxy:
