Something I've observed after drawing everything is most Western animation teeth falls under these 4 types.

A – No shapes: Hilda, Amphibia.
B – Rounded: Star vs., Wallace & Gromit.
C – Squares: Dexter's Lab, FOP.
D – Offset, giving an illusion of depth: Owl House, Glitch Techs

Step 1 - Learning that "Mirroring" is a thing. Step 2 - Learning how to mirror Lines, Shapes and Forms (across a centerline). Step 3 - Mirroring these "in perspective". (and accounting for distortion). All this takes scrutiny and practice.

October birthed my most complicated designs ever, utilizing a lot of layer effects, custom shapes, text effects, all that stuff. I do recall finding a lot of personal motivation during this month and it really allowed me to focus on evolving my style into something special.

As much as I once enjoyed math, there is something paradoxical about a line being the shortest distance between 2 imaginary points.

The paradox is that the "shape" of the imaginary points influences the distance.

I like to go the distance by playing with blended shapes.

PORTRAIT TUTORIAL 👨

Break the forms down into simple shapes, don't worry about details. Work vague to specific. Really observe your reference.

Same with shading. Work big/blurry to small/refined. Pay attention to your light source.
