This doujin is one of my absolute faves. It's 108 pages long and BEAUTIFUL. The story you can follow without language, the art works very well. It has a lot of gore in it though but a wonderful plot!

Warning for non-con, which is why it isn't 5/5. The art is stunning, the story is great, but the plot is all r/pe so you gotta keep that in mind. Still, if it won't make you uncomfy it's a good read.

In the manga, the TB is always shown taking place over a single day, but the OG DB anime makes the first three tournaments into multi-day affairs. By the Buu arc though, the idea that the entire tournament takes only a single day becomes an important plot point.
@saintwalker98 @ElJeasel People’s mileage may vary, but I loved this deconstructionist moment in Batman: RIP, only for it to be undermined by the inevitable plot twist villain reveal. I’ve noticed Morrison does that a lot (Xorn in New X-Men being perhaps the worst example).
