I can finally do such a thing and see my progress.
I could not do this before because I could not draw because of the strong art block that lasted more than 3 years

Working in stages & areas, creases of the jacket here, w/o overall form lighting.

I did general facial planes, which need refining. General plume/hand/hair ideas. Work in progress.

This year I was able to come back to art for the last couple months! I've only been at it for a short time this year but I'm happy with my progress. Next year I hope to finally be able to do some Commissions for others instead of just drawings for me!

Wildly underestimated how much I made this year. I made my ""first"" original character, sorta perfected the Lysol Jones-esque style I've been working on, got pretty good at digital painting, and illustrated a comic! On top of my first inktober. Lots of progress.

It was a tough year, full of mental turmoil & also full of progress. As hard as it was, I’ve developed so much this year. As a person mostly. I’m very grateful for this year, and cannot wait for 2020.
