i think i've found a better way to deal with gradients with limited colors. pixel/hash brush in 3 different values, posterize into 3, and then it's easy to wand and fill just 3 colors as the aliased edges became hard pixel edges instead.

Okay so I do think I found Kel's hair color. A mousy-brown color would be a nice option IMO; it separates from the more vibrant Blood Elf colors.

Got their colors down now! Also made some adjustments to Brother 2’s design to better resemble Ariel’s hair and mane style, as well as colors. Brother 1 has a somewhat similar color scheme to Shade and Cassiel’s (the most common appearance fans made for him) colors. Though —>
