This composition of the onlooker being incorporated into the painting is of course most famously seen in Friedrich's 'Wanderer above the Sea of Clouds' from the 19th c. The use of open and eventful skyscapes in this narrative ofc comes from Surrealism and Dali.

I thought the werewolf would be something like this and not what we got so far. Going with a "moonbreak" theme, where the monster would enrage and speed up when the sky was clear of clouds. I can't draw for shit and I'm creatively bankrupt, so that's all I can come up with.
