I feel like my firsg approach 2 observational painting etc was very trying to draw the form a bit too literally (aka working from structure), which, form IS helpful, but understanding light and composition and the image itself made even the simple quick stuff feel stronger, to me

Tried my hand at a couple Fakemon based around ferrofluid!
Ferrofuzz cover themselves in a metallic (and toxic) slurry to bolster defences in the wild. After time, the fluid is slowly absorbed into the Pokémon and changes their molecular structure

I have mixed feelings regarding Coven LB but I always thought her icon was capturing her features/facial structure perfectly, so her Bewitching icon feels a bit off in comparison? 🤔 I'll try to edit it later when I'm home 🥹
