Lately I've been using watercolour, coloured pencil and layering elements in photoshop.

some of my favorite things I drew this year were things I tried with crayons/layering the scans in photoshop!!! I hope I can do more of these soon!!!! It's pretty time consuming, plus I don't have a scanner at home 😢😢😢

So I haven’t posted much art for a while. I’ve been working on this piece (and a few others) for about a week now. I’m working way more with color layering than I have before.
I noticed that these characters don't mesh together perfectly. I'll work on that.

It's all about cupcakes today! 2 lovely sustained colour pieces by Leah and Marie (Y11). Lot's of hard work layering ink washes and then working back in with coloured pencils for tone/texture/fine detail!
