With its almost completely abandoned spatial depth and its flat strictness, the work is one of Caspar David Friedrich’s most radical compositions. At the same time, it belongs to the most festive paintings of this painter.📖 https://t.co/EHc9qrOoRn 🏛 Kunst Museum Winterthur 1818

Making some magic orbs. Haven't done effects before, so just messing around. Not sure if they'll actually fit into this composition. I guess if I give them some shape to match the wind? Its layers of Voronoi and transparency from Facing. Will make fun light

“Usually I go around -to the river, the forest, the lake- to try and find interesting compositions.”

this hasn’t been posted officially on this account yet but, this is a piece I’m currently crazy proud of. I put so much time and effort into it, pushing my skills to new heights with the use of line, perspective, composition and color. Jazza’s course inspired me

Pierre Bonnard’s c1920 oil Kids on patio, Strongly colorful intimate scale patio scene shows sea landscape background, beautiful post impression composition to enjoy; My intimate scale scenes seldom lead to landscape, but a nice idea:

Rework of Schwartzwald for Patreon! Old version shown for comparison, I pulled it in because the original composition was too broad.

Man what I'd give to have these books and to be able to study the style and composition of Sushio's work.
A huge inspiration for me ❤️

The big project from today's art stream. Lots and lots of marker layering. Also heavily indebted to the work of Baron Engel since I was effectively given one of his drawings to put into this character composition.

‘Queen Gazelle’ Took the opportunity to explore the organic shapes of my brushstrokes and how they form the bigger shapes in this composition. Oh, and colors and light 💡!😊 ©️Stark 2020

Smaugust day 21: it took me some more time to actually plan this one out. Week 3 prompt is “Mythos” and will be a sun and moon composition featuring guest star to accompany Luno

I had the chance to draw DiddleDoodles character again!

I know I've already said this but I LOVE Rinnie's design!
She's an explosion of color!
It's hard fitting that long tail and hair in the picture though, I had to think a lot about the composition.

"vei with broadsword", my practice piece. She was using a broadsword in the game playing yesterday. The composition is common in robot anime.
イラスト練習。”両手剣を構えるvei”。昨日のゲームで両手剣を使っていたので。今回はサンライズ立ちをさせてみたよ。

God damn. How good is Dan Lee at coloring? I also love Derick Jones' composition here. This panel is one of those few panels in comic books where it came out exactly how I imagined it.

Studying color and composition, also testing my Eidetic memory 😂😂(I saw the original photo, somewhere... I don't remember where or when, but credits for that photographer !)
