Honestly, I’d love this. It can be a dark story between Ep 3 and 4, but with a human element too. There were moments of him revisiting Padme’s grave in secret during comics. They could also incorporate Lieutenant Lekauf, who was pretty much Vader’s only friend in the Empire.
