I've been working on this now for most of the past 2 days, and although the texture's not 100% finished I'm happy with it for now. This is, for though who don't know, an Indrakai Firebird from 's world of Kaimere. An amazing fantasy world I highly recommend!

My first and second trial 😂
pretty hard to express the 'spirit' texture and the 'azuki' image.. first I intended to draw much in lines, and I thought this is not that much...attractive. In second trial I tried express more 'mass' and texture of 'spirit'...but it was too simple. https://t.co/6E1uSD7eVg

Et là, j'ai pris cette base pour passer en niveaux de gris afin de redéfinir chaque plan. Ca m'a aussi permis de tester plein de brushs pour trouver des effets de textures intéressants !
Next step, je montrerai les tests de palette chromatiques mais je fais une pause sur ça :)
