I'm getting the proportions closer and the colors/one layer shading right, but I'm still iffy on the line art. I'm not sure how to replicate "cheap tablet with no pen pressure on what is essentially ms paint"-style shaky lines yet.

To me, the big difference is that Cowan drew her more beautiful than sexy, and it was a very particular, effortless, dominant kind of beauty. The only artist to me that has come close to replicating that was Scott in Batgirl, and even he didn't quite nail that supreme confidence.
