I might have finally found a way to replicate oil painting into digital. AFTER ALL THESE YEARS OF RESEARCH. I know it seems minor to some people but this is huge for me.
@Procreate I love trying to replicate a sort of texture feel for some artworks or a movie esque scene! The Frieren portrait is my favorite simply because it feels like a historical piece that would fit for her world setting.
@NoelVer22 Keeping that in mind, I suggest you to start small. To draw like me, you only need a mouse, keyboard and a computer that can run a 10 dollar program called Aseprite.

I'm learning to optimize the design for replicability. This one for example, uses a simple, untextured 3D model and gradient maps to serve as pseudo blender shader nodes to save myself time coloring.
