It’s not often I’m totally blown away by a book.

“The Wanderer” by did just that.

It is an utterly stunning wordless picturebook. It’s a story full of bravery, wonder, danger and imagination. Just Wow!

I wanted to draw a more book accurate "markl" after rewatching the howl's moving castle film. He's in his early/mid teens and described as a 'dark young man' in the book...but light enough that he can also be called "red-faced" so here we go.
