What you see in the video is point cloud in a 3D environment with some FX. We had a version with textures but it pushed the PC to its limit! We also made a volumetric art documentary project using Kinect with cine film textures, that was a challenge! Both projects were pure R&D.

Making more progress on King Krusha K. Rool. Got the in-game meshes just about done now (complete with UV-mapping & rigging.)

I took some pics of the cover for Ronan the Librarian while I was working on it, I thought I'd share them today to celebrate its publication day! 😄

I used masking fluid for the figures as I knew I wanted wet-on-wet effects for the sky/trees and sponge textures for the stone.
