i find these characters to be particularly bad in this aspect. both are far too over designed, which in turn makes them not stand out in any way as their designs just become cluttered and melt into eachother. there is little to no memorability due to the overcomplicatedness.
these characters i find to be very poor in this aspect. there is no way new audiences could recognize them as "spider mob boss" or "moth latina" to make up for this, they act like walking stereotypes in order to phone in the fact they are italian/latina/gay as there is no way...
I had a pencil drawing a woman in 2018. Deformation gives me a new aspect of her. And color takes me away where I don't know.
