A Sega CD remake of an old STG that debuted on Japanese computers. Silpheed is a master of using SCD limitations to create stunning visuals w a lowpoly style. The FMV backgrounds rarely feel grainy and mesh well with the polygonal ships onscreen.
As someone who has studied the sdc style for 7 years, I just can't help but be bugged by how off model and dull this new promo art from jojo world 2 looks. As you can see the second image is accurate p3 art style. Even in the chibi version kakyoin has more detail. New artist?
The final catgirl is done!! This was a neat lil challenge for myself in both speed and adapting characters into my style. With that said, I dont think i'll do something like this for a while. Some weeks were easy but some were painful and I dont want to stress myself even more.

In honor of Piccolo Day, I tried emulating Akira Toriyama's art style for this Yamato, in both the lineart and the coloring style. I based the pose off of Yamcha but the face off of the Androids.
