Fun colouring tip: Shading with gradients
Flat colours > darker colour gradient shade > 2 colour overlay
add shade and highlight as needed

It's a simple and fun (for me!) way to add depth to any illustration

Sprinkle some gold powder on the edge of the cotton ball ear to create the effect of black and gold gradients. It looks gorgeous and delicious!

So this is kinda cool. For certain drawings it works really well, but for gradients and such it kinda doesn't work. Here's two examples. The pony charm is cute but a lot of the highlight is gone and the gradient too. The Cat (not my oc) headshot worked really well though!

Me and my bro made fun of these instagram artists that only draw perfect faces, so I tried replicating them with a sketch and tried out colour gradients. COLOUR GRADIENTS ARE SO COOL WHOA. Didn‘t use any references so it looks a bit off, but that‘s fine lmao.
