Ocepechelon from the Late Cretaceous is one of the largest turtles ever. It had a bony, tube-shaped snout which is unique in four-limbed vertebrates. Its skull was 70cm long.

Here’s a sneak peek of a new illustration I created for the third edition of my book, of The Dissection of Vertebrates. This is a sheep heart. Appropriately themed for today. Happy Valentine’s Day!

Hey you know what's a cool jellyfish? Stygiomedusa gigantea. It has a 1m bell and up to 10m oral arms, making it one of the largest invertebrate predators in the deep ocean!! She's also beautiful and I love her!!!!
