Learned how to use clipping for layers. Now markings will take waaay less time to do. (I was doing line-less markings by hand this entire time.) So enjoy this test I did while teaching myself.

i actually can't get my skirt to recreate the issue i was having yesterday so it may have been wonky lighting on a metallic dyed fabric ;KLDJFE
but yeah you can see it with rosea up there and astrelle here, the only issue i ever have w/armor clipping is the hair

For the drawings themselves I used Clip Studio Paint, I downloaded a bunch of watercolor brushes for the color, and also used some various built in brushes from CSP for effects, I tend to make use of a lot of clipping layers and blending modes too

Basically. I draw the most simple sketch possible and go straight in with the polygonal lasso tool to fill in shapes on different layers. Then add details+gradients on clipping masks.

It saves me a ton of time since I tend to spend AGES on lineart
