Some cutscenes in the 3DS version are way more creative but they've been perfectly emulated in the 2D version of XIS. As you know by now, there's one and only one reason I'd have wanted the 3DS remake, and it will probably come anyway with another game:

And in case you were worried that the Metal Gear boardgame would leave out all the cutscenes lovingly crafted by , the game includes over 100 pages of comics that make up the cutscenes.

I think this is also spot on. Probably a test for Gen 6 (given how similar it is to this already-known G6 testing image) but it has both the chibi and more realistically proportioned models.

Maybe the lankier model was intended to test the XY Cutscenes?

I love when these event cutscenes have special art in them, its really brings depth to the characters and its a nice change to the character still puppet shows we usually get
