Made these two characters recently. I'm thinking a lot about changing my style to a more simpler approach especially for my environments. I feel like I lost my patience for 'realistic' rendering (if I ever had any). So for 2019 I guess I'll experiment more.

concepts for 22db... shes a dogbot that works on a space station, doing repairs in unsafe environments. or just stuff no one else wanted to do. she has emotions and is sentient. she cant talk, just put those symbols on her screen/face. she doesnt use the emoticons often tho

Initially we planned to construct large, open levels, using custom geometry for the base terrain. However we found it time-consuming to iterate/make changes to the levels, and a challenge to keep the art style/texture resolution consistent across such large environments. 2/7
