@vintagecoyote For my facial sctructures I do a "Cheek bump" then add fur. The soft tissue that lies on top of the cheek bone gives a soft rounded appearence which, without fur, makes a rounded bump like you'd see on a human's face. You can make it softer or sharper depending on the character.

The final bit on the character actually was a lighting pass. A lot of it tends to get softer with detailling, so I brought back some depth and hardness. Here I could have considered my conceptart goal done ... but I just loved it way too much and thought context is needed [07/20]

This one was especially impressive in person. I'd only ever seen this game sharp and the softer look is a lot prettier to my eye. The increased contrast also adds a lot of depth.
