I mixed a few hairstyle pieces together and came up with something I like for my rogue. Textures may be subject to change, such as the hair pin colour.

It's very interesting to author textures for this technique though, check out this funny looking texture and how the squiggly lines get translated into smoothly animated beams in the intended use case

lowered the model from 1 million tris to just over 100k, time for more textures/repair some

(Current WIP) Transparent hair textures and some stray hairs really do wonders! I like this much more than the lego blocky hair I used to get when doing straight hair strands.
