This is something close to what I do when I color. I usually blend the base color and shadow together, then use a warmer tone to create a halfway tone on top. Hope it helps anyone! Spread it around

If you ask me, things like TMNT are flexible when it comes to drastic reinterpretations. The original show went for a more lighter tone in comparison to the original comics. Does that make it bad? That they would make it more for a younger demographic?
