Finding the blocky forms, helps us find/understand the perspective, and offers ideas for where to put the light and shadow (on the 'planes'). Find Corners. Keep it Simple. Note: In this blocky example, the fingers are simple but the palm could be simpler.

The thing I love the most about Dwarfhold is its maps. Imo their designs are some of the best in the entire game.
