Map of the Heart will be uploaded similarly to Délicatesse - i'll post process from thumbnails -> final pages for each chapter on patreon (likely starting in October). once i have a backlog of 2 chapters, the webcomic will be hosted publicly/for free in spring 2022 -

This poor vessel may have met a sorry fate, but at least it has washed up in the vicinity of your player characters. What curiosity might they find inside, GM..?

I finally finished it ^^
Da Vinci and Deepak wanted to go for a walk, but then they got completely lost. Fortunately, Deepak has a map that he can read, more or less. Hope you like it :3

6. I’m pretty sure my Disneyland “fun map” still holds the top spot for the piece that took the longest! I think it was about 60-70 hours? Maybe more?

Then i added color dodge on top of everything to REALLY push the lighting.

I don't like using color dodge as part of the base layer since its very overwhelming and i wanted it to be a consistent color rather than whatever the gradient map decided

Then, use that layer as a gradient map. The next 3 pics is that gradient map on top of the original in different ways -
1. 50% soft light
2. 100% soft light
3. 75% overlay

i wanted it to be very subtle, so i went with the first. but its an easy way to add vividness.

To get the colors to homogenize right, i used a gradient map setup - first pic is the original group layer of the individual charas. Second is adding a multiply layer over everyone.

The third is a clone of that layer with saturation set to zero.

The girls listening to the meteor shower event as well as astronomy in general ^^ I love learning about the stars as a few years ago for my birthday a friend of mine gave me a star map, so I could learn about the stars and constellations ^^

face shadow sdf map test! I consider this as my first success since I learned the face shadow workflow 😂
I drew 9 keyframes to make the shadow flowing looks smoother, the transitional parts' shapes are hard to control tho

Quick sketch of a really cool tree I saw on map crunch

Just finished my submission for A tribute to The Legend of Zelda on its 35th anniversary, reimagining the in-game map but still limited to the original resolution and NES palette. I did I8+J8 (original attached for comparison), and can't wait to see the final map!

This map is from my early days, when rocks were a total mystery to me... and I'm still learning to this day! What trips you up the most, fellow battle-map-drawers?
