I think it's funny because you can still tell these are 's sprites but just more DATED. Putting Rust and Survival mechanics wherever he possibly can. He is the first friend I met through game dev and he's been my homie ever since. ♥️

A bit of quick practice for today:

I always lean on way bigger than average sprites to pack in all sorts of detail, so I wanted to try to stick to a smaller canvas. Here's my attempt at getting all the key details on Felix within 32x32.

Easy solution to the question. If the blue spots were supposed to be stripes, than these sprites would have broken or unfinished stripes. They also aren't in the same spot

So, in conclusion, it's just some funky shading that reuses the same shading from the armor and Kris's face
