I initially started a painting of @thegigigoode way back in May of 2020 but it went very wrong and I ended up painting over it 😑 After that I searched for the perfect reference photo to work from & eventually stumbled across this image. Thankfully my second attempt worked out!

He may not be a favorite of mine like most other fans, but I still find him to be quite an exceptional character. Little details I catch about him still bring this notion to light, and I was initially afraid he was going-

I think one of the things Harleen does so well is addressing Harley’s initial attraction to the Joker...because it’s such a hard thing to do right and so rarely do we actually see it play out like the wrong that we all know it is, & seeing that struggle for her is so fascinating

29. A game you were surprised you liked
Hollow Knight. It initially intimidated the hell out of me but as I grew accustomed to the gameplay and controls, it became SO satisfying to take down the bosses and traverse the world and explore. AND FIND ALL BABY GRUBS. 🥺

recently made a new reference for my poet warrior Artemisia Ferro
i ended up putting a lot more effort into this than i initially expected but i'm pretty happy with how it's turned out!
For the third one I initially wanted to go for really hard shadows but I felt that it did not look good in combination with the sketchy lines. So I ended up making them soft (I used the oil brush for that). And then I added soft light with the airbrush...
Taking some time to refine his design from my first initial concept sketches and I think he’s starting to look good ?😳
