So now I have 5 or 6 thumbnails where before I had one. They all have different angles and different energy, and they all have a sense of life to them. And they're all CONSISTENTLY his face.

Some distortion, but nothing that can't be corrected.

Spacial reasoning practice for shoes & rapid color on gouache brushes for quick diffused light. Trying to see if I can develop a faster technique for thumbnail sketching incorporating lighting. I did last week for my commission and I think it helped me add lots of detail after.
