@DeputyRustArt I do a lot of drawing for my comics(although it'll be a while before the pages get shown in full publicly)
I also take time to finish some illustrations both for fun(since my comics are greyscale but the illustrations aren't) and to have things to post beside comic updates
🔹Request #4 for @Man102020
I tried using greyscale for this one, it was fun painting in black and white

This has been so hard to color maybe I am tired idk I could just stick with greyscale
Throwback to when “Test Run” was originally done in half colour, half greyscale.
His hair colour is a nightmare to blend from greens, blues and greys... but hey, I managed to make it at least similar! That counts.

Still working with Mim on illustrating the Star Nations that all get lumped together and erroneously called "the greys" as if they were all the same people from the same system. These are based off of the original photos. - Su
Warm rocks this time. Running low on warm greys so I figured I’ll invert the colours and make the clouds in the background cold grey.

ネガティブプロンプトとやらに「greyscale」を入れるとギャンギャンに彩度が高まるという知見を得た

A late night #wip for spooky season! Really want to practice with my values and composition. Should I try out greyscale or just go with color right away? 🧐
Something with a very limited palette to excercise once again with an 80s poster vibe- greyscale, dithering, and high black and white contrast.
Vaguely inspired by Patrick Nagel :3
Also viewable on my site! https://t.co/B1yw6hNu3e
The most interesting thing is how muddied the values were on the original one (greyscaled version bellow for comparison of each)
@DamonBoyle1 @pkdan14850 That's the way I do my retro bases on my 80s and 90s models :) I paint the base green after putting sand on, then use a green shade over it and finally do a yellow drybrush. Gets that classic retrohammer base look :)
For a more modern look you can do it in greys/browns.
