It always irks me when they lean in on Miles Morales being black and forgetting he's also half Puerto Rican. I loved in Spider-Verse when they actually have him sprinkle in some Spanglish in his dialogue.

What If...? Miles Morales (2022) #4, more like What If Asgard was the most stereotypical hood you could find. Seems like the writer Google'd "how do black people speak in movies" and went along with it. I guess all black neighborhood are filled with graffiti?

The new Miles Morales What If comic is getting heavily criticized and I’m happy people are calling out the content inside the book itself instead of just a cover or a preview like I’ve seen with other books.
I actually do like the character design but the writing looks awful.
Since everyone's been going at the new Miles Morales Thor comic, I thought I'd give have a go at giving him a redesign. I definitely took more from Spider-Verse in terms of proportions since I'm biased.
Had some suggestions from friends. Thoughts?
