Nobody asked but i wanted to talk about it a bit... when coloring im usually think of palettes, specyally formthe underpaint. So that i can make the piece be cohezie with harmony but still have enough hue contrast not to look muddy

Just for fun, whenever I don't have time or energy to actually draw I play around with possible character concepts by editing older drawings. Helps figure out their colour palettes and establish a baseline until I come up with a proper design later

Tried out some limited palettes on Makiri, including some more Kinda forces you to identify what's essential to the sprite, and make sure the silhouette still works with all the fancy colors.

Palettes used are beneath each sprite.
