D20: Shōko's attempt to confess to Shōya in Koe no Kotachi (A Silent Voice) will break my heart every time I see it. Normally, I would agree this kind of teasing is annoying, but here it's instrumental to the plot. Film would be too neat and easy if he understood her.

A decent episode but it’s all about tying arcs together without any particular actually episodic plot. I appreciate that they acknowledge the Hitler-shaped elephant in the room with time travel, it just doesn’t stand up as a story outside of its series.
