Romeo is... a pain in the butt to draw. I bought a compass that looks like it just so I don't have to imagine all its weird angles but still I struggle. I think I like this sequence because it rejects Charlie just like it always rejects me. Plus, the colors, come on!
This may be something of a deep cut, but Laxia from Ys VIII made me wish the player character wasn't literally as dense and non-emotive as possible. She's... smart, capable, and compassionate. Also, while her design might not be super practical, I think it's neat.
Raphael got it spot on imo. Euclid is anti-Plato. As Plato naively points up, Euclid and his mathematical friends demonstratively turn the opposite way, embracing physicality, anchoring the very essence of geometry in the tangible steel of the compass and wax of the tablet.

Close-up! Allow me to take this opportunity to say that, if you haven’t read this book yet, go ahead and move it to the top of your list. It’s such a deeply compassionate and loving book. A queer romance/fantasy to heal the weary soul.
@BLUET0NES ARMIN!!! He’s portrayed as weak or soft sometimes in a negative light, but really, he’s just a strategical genius who can tell when he’s going to lose and retreat is necessary. He’s the smartest character in Attack on Titan and super compassionate as well.
