If you want a career in comics, do it yourself. #ComicsGate, indie, whatever (I suggest CG).
2 years in, and I have 3 books to my name. 2 of them were rejected by the mainstream. They wouldn't exist without my readers.
Find/build your own audience. You can do it. It's worth it.
-Talila- "So God damn bored and its hot outside so what do you want to do?~"
Talila looks at the readers as she complained about the heat and how bored she is
‘Yes’, said Sleepy. ‘I have many magical powers and I shall share them with you, Jenny’

@jblackreinhardt’s favorite scene in Playing Possum is when Alfred and Sofia realize that they are not alone with their challenges. Their expressions convey the feelings of love and compassion she hopes readers take away from the story. #PictureBookParade https://t.co/Jib24FQUZW

it's probably too late now for current readers, but i went back and edited this line to specify that rex's dad was a developing blank.
now please stop asking how his mom banged a blank. he had a face dammit. 🔪
SUPERMAN #23 has a moment that I think a lot of readers have been waiting for. @BRIANMBENDIS slips in these powerfully human moments that you rarely see in superhero stories. The art by @maguirekevin and @johntimmsart is top-notch as well.
Just a great issue all around.

Here at his coming-of-age in 1769, making up for his youth & relative inexperience with some really, extraordinarily large crotch tassels 🍾

My Russian publisher, Astrel, adds 'No One Gets Alive' to its Nevill list. Two more novels are in translation. With A16 translated years ago, I'm chuffed to have reached 7 novels in Russian.
Two horned salute to my Russian readers. I hope you're keeping well in a tough time.
May all your readers feel this way!

If we go back this fall, it’s unlikely parents/visitors will be able to enter the building. I would love to hear your ideas about virtually involving parents in the school/classroom. One idea I have is mystery readers where parents zoom or Skype the class to read. Other ideas?💡
