Before and After. Just setting a layer with a full color and then setting it to overlay really helps you adjust the tone/mood of the hues. At least that's what I've found. This could be a beginner tier trick here for all I know, and it's like I just discovered fire XD

Warm-up doodle tonight, just got home from work and thought I'd just have fun with greyscale shading study! Woot woot!

Need to work on my shadows, but I think the mid tone and subtle highlights look really good!

Updating Nezuko to make use of my favourite features of Silent's shader:

1. The ability to adjust the outline width using vertex colours. Makes a big difference on the hands especially

2. A shadow tone map lets me customise the colour shadow in different areas
