This rendition definitely nailed home the ethereal aspect of the Azuki! My favorite aspects would have to be the lighting of the kimono along with the swirling mist emanating from her sword, it’s quite a cool approach ^o^

While the Azuki was expertly depicted here with facial features, shadows and lighting, I must admit it was the golden allure of the sword and kimono that had my eyes glued to this submission! The shine and its reflection was just so mesmerizing ^o^

While the filter on this rendition took away elements from the original, it also added some to the original as well—simplifying previous aspects (the kimono) and highlighting others (the character). Simple yet creative!

Straight up Star Wars vibes! I love how the Azuki is in a contemplative state of mind as she examines her glowing sword—gives a sense of “with great power comes great responsibility.” Very well done with the extent of rendering and lighting!

I think the "spirit" aspect of my Azuki was portrayed very well in this rendition, especially with the ethereal nature of the sword & hair; in addition, I could not overlook the lighting & clothing detail--so meticulously crafted!

My chibi art is getting more and more complicated. I do better shading and lighting on them now, and they starting to have body curves and shape like actual human. It looks better, but I guess that kinda loses the meaning of chibi? I mean, I draw them to RELAX, after all

Hardware store lighting section elves. I imagined attire as a cross between circus costumes (acrobats) and sci-fi (electronic appliances) with lots of jewelry/decoration. Eye pupils have to constrict in a bright environment.
