Class demo - HD'ing the Mech from FFVI. I showed students how to find forms using side profile sketches, which are easier to draw, then "skewing" that side view in PS and extruding it into 3D, thus preserving the proportions. It's a fast process; useful in early phases of design.

Like, classic Cyborg showed a lot of skin. Animated Cyborg, who made the character a household name, showed a fair amount of skin. New 52 Cyborg shows only half a face. That feels important for a black male hero, especially one whose main inner conflict is about his humanity.
