August 4 was the anniversary of Hans Christian Andersen's death. He died of liver cancer. He always carries with him a letter written to the greatest love of his life, which they discovered upon finding him dead.

I forgot to draw something about that date, but here it is.

Finally finished it. The tin soldier and the ballerina perish in the flames. Used photoshop to add the black background and adjust the scanned image. Couldn't preserve some colors, but overall it's fine
