I’m ayabit! I like warm colors and gradients. Yellow is my favorite color but I tend to work more with reds and purples. Printers are scary!

ClayBuildup is great for sculpting, but it can also be really great for polypainting! By selecting a darker colour than the base colour, setting the brush to drag rectangle and removing the alpha (optional?), you can apply some really nice colour variation and gradients.

Today I wanted to try something a little more complicated with my soft Before this I'd only used pastels for some gradual color gradients and a of fruit so this piece was really challenging. I think the result was beautiful in a soft way.

Here is a tip about values for working from life, find the big relationships first! Here was my first step in this painting, with a foundation like this the small changes like blending and gradients fit well within the overall impression and the parts then relate to the whole.

My water markers deserved a rematch! I realized you can use a watercolor brush to make gradients and fades and blends with them! the results are much closer now!
