to the people complaining about Nick Brawl's presentation with the lack of voice acting. I must remind you that Battle for the Grid was in a similar boat upon launch, but its gameplay and netcode let it sell like crazy to let them get a bigger budget to add voice acting and DLC.

For those who care, I've finally decoded the collision code in Dexter GBA. And it's as bad as I feared.

TL;DR, it uses a pixel collision, saved as a set of tiles that don't line up with the level grid. Which leads to results like this:
