I forgot to mention this when I originally showed my G1 Megatron but you can actually angle the gun barrel in robot mode on his back to look like how it is in the cartoon(which was based on the prototype), it sits at an angle instead of straight up though

I think it would be a neat idea that in some future Transformers fiction - comic, cartoon, whatever - they introduce Megaplex as a heroic clone of Megatron. I don't know how it'd work story-wise. Maybe he was a back-up body that became good. Like the Vision to Megatron's Ultron
