I think Lobo’s a type of character that people have a hard time finding an attachment to. What really made him click for me was finding that he’s arguably the best character in the DCU to have other characters bounce off of. Very happy with how his choice of books at the moment.

There were decades where the dominant talk was that Marvel was edgier and DC was the staid, conservative comics company.

But I have always maintained that DC's Mayberry facade hid the coolest and most disturbing side alleys. I loved the weirdness of the DCU best of all.
