Made a quick and dirty tutorial on how I usually approach adding tones quickly onto my sketches.

Getting this part done usually covers up to 80% of my workflow, the remaining 20 is for rendering, but I'd also like my work to be able to hold itself up with minimal rendering.

Experimenting with a simplistic new style of color.

1. Style following Arthur Tien's Monster Prom rendering.
2. Using 3-layered halfing rule. Exception for the eyes.
3. Hotter highlights, colder shadows.

I think I can safely say the textures are finally done! Now all I need to do is rig them and pose them for the final rendering. I should finish the entire project this week if all goes well! :)

I've been playing with cmyk halftones tests on the lately portraits I've drawn with a fancy analog rendering. I like to tell myself I have to deal with just 4 colours. And it's very comfortable for my colorblindness.

I drew Mia for my part! We did a "modern fashion" theme with the girls so it was interesting to find something I felt fit Mia haha.
I really enjoyed working on this one, I was trying to be a bit more loose with my rendering. <3
