Here's a glimpse at my (currently small) portfolio, I'm currently sorting myself out but here's some of my favourite recent pieces
~~~~~~~~~~~
#PortfolioDay
Today’s 509 photo shoot was inspired by this magical piece of work by @CWingsyun . It’s stunning and there’s no way I could recapture it with the moon but by Primus I tried a heap in a nice green spot. Gonna be a lot of sorting!
[ Northern Lights v2] - Revival of an old post using radialBlur, this time adding pixel sorting to further this effect
Speaking of workaholism, I had this old character inspired by the Papers Please game who became a metaphor for my own addiction to work. He was an unstable zealot who was made to work for a heartless system he hated, resorting to alcohol. He ended up joining the rebellion though.
Back to the spawner, sorting system chaos! What's this button do? Noonish EST, right after @xEchoACEx's stream live from the iSV server. https://t.co/sTtM5eDab6
sorting JP/DE loc assets ahead of our beta on thursday. comparing the two is actually really interesting - e.g. 'This and That', the Bright Young Thing card, being 'あれこれ' (so off-hand!) or 'Dies und das' (which tickles me - sounds like a bad Arnie impersonator)
Was really stuck on what to do for this prompt for a while, so ended up resorting back pink 😬💖
btw one good thing has happened. While I am still sorting myself out, my aunt, mother, father, and sister have all voiced support of me being queer and questioning, and will support me no matter what.
I didn't think I would ever have that kind of support. I feel blessed.
My first painting done in CSP! An updated portrait of Seiji, antagonist of my head world's story :D I had fun sorting through all the different brushes and finding ones with textures, something out of my comfort zone when it comes to humans. #oc_tober
I'm sorting through my art-folder right now |D
I drew this recently during a stream. It always brings me so much joy to see my boys in their original Ragnarok Online Form x)
Day 3 of #inktechtober2020 and I am totally inspired by https://t.co/PNSO9eJKmX. They explain sorting algorithms with the help of traditional dances.
Day 94: the beginning is the end is the beginning (MakersPlace Exclusive Color Variant), a rare digital artwork by Jarid Scott.
“The founders put some brains in me
So I could choose instead!
Now slip me snug about your ears,
I’ve never yet been wrong,
I’ll have a look inside your mind
And tell where you belong!’”
I stopped working for the night, but I'm happy with how this model is turning out. Fel looks cute as hell so hopefully all this layering and sorting layers into logical spots will be worth it
-Concept art for my potential Harry Potter OC. Original art is not mine. I just added the house logos and coloured in a couple of ties. My OC would be part of two houses. She has qualities for Raven Claw and Gryffindor. The sorting hat couldn’t choose where to put her.
Sorting my online accounts & stumbled across DeviantArt (where I'm deleting everything off there, might even delete the account soon). Anyway, while I'm here I'm been reminded of @twinkleandgloom 's earlier work & remembered how much I love it. I mean look at this gorgeous piece!
"Hmm, difficult. VERY difficult. Plenty of courage, I see. Not a bad mind, either. There's talent, oh yes. And a thirst to prove yourself. But where to put you?"
Hermione & Sorting Hat
Painting this hat was fun.🌝
I've saved three more times, I don't trust it.
ANYWAY. The first thing to do is getting the reshaping and planes sorting out which makes it an awful lot easier to figure out where things are going and to block out each surface. It doesn't need to look good, just functional.
