Shin Ultraman was an unexpectedly life-affirming movie. Really strong script and fun action sprinkled throughout. I would’ve loved it even more if the VFX utilized some more oldschool tokusatsu goodness, but that aside, this is a very sweet film.

Today is Ultraseven's 55th anniversary! My favourite Tokusatsu series. I was blown away at how thoughtfully it presented it's themes and messages and how well they hold up even to this day. I couldn't recommend it enough I love this show.
